Who Am I?
Hello! I’m Robert McClellan, a passionate web developer and tech enthusiast. After spending over 20 years as a truck driver, I transitioned into software development to create meaningful, accessible solutions. My focus is on crafting apps and tools that empower people to live with more freedom and simplicity — whether it’s ad-blocking apps, off-grid living solutions, or interactive games.
When I’m not coding, I’m out exploring the world around me. I believe in the power of mental clarity and the healing benefits of spending time in nature, which I call “mudditation” and “mountainthairapy”. My loyal companion, Stihl, my corgi-border-collie mix puppy, is always with me on my adventures, helping me clear my head and stay grounded.
My Journey
Life has a way of pushing you to grow. After health challenges forced me to leave my trucking career, I found a new passion in software development. I dove into languages like PHP, SQL, HTML, CSS, and Node.js, and I’m currently expanding my skillset with C, C#, C++, and soon, Ruby on Rails. Along the way, I’ve embraced environments like Visual Studio Code, IntelliJ IDEA, and Android Studio to bring my ideas to life.
My journey hasn’t been easy, but it’s been worth it. Maintaining a 4.0 GPA while balancing personal projects and the challenges of learning something new keeps me focused on my end goal: living a life where I can work hard now so I can spend more time outdoors later.

I specialize in creating custom web applications, mobile apps, and ad-blocking solutions that emphasize usability, simplicity, and affordability. I’m also passionate about off-grid living and sustainable technology, helping people regain control of their environments — both digitally and physically. My work is about using technology to support exploration and freedom.
